Front Desk uses a disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 in all common areas before and after check-ins—with a heightened attention to bikes, weights, and all high-touch surfaces after every class.
After every class, every bike in the studio is thoroughly disinfected—even if it was not used. Towels are only set out on bikes that are being used as well.
We encourage our clients to wear masks as they are walking around the studio, getting set up, etc. They are optional though, not required. Staff face masks are worn. Instructors will wear masks until class begins.
After every class, we disinfect doorknobs, handles, rails, light switches, sanitizing stations, lockers, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, benches, the front desk, keyboards, computers, phones, and instructor equipment.
Shoes are rotated so that they’re never worn two classes in a row. We only rent them out once they’re entirely disinfected and dry.
As we patiently wait for our audio equipment to be delivered {and installed}, we are using Sound Off headphones during our classes. These headphones give our riders the ability to hear both the playlist and the instructor teaching while they ride {imagine a silent disco, but with only one channel}. These nifty headphones also give you the opportunity to listen to class at whichever sound decimal sounds right for you. We disinfect all headphone pieces after each class.
CHVRCH is a mind first, body second experience. Your body will only go as far as your mind allows it to, so we primarily focus on getting you in the zone and allowing your body to follow {but pushing it along the way}. We cycle to the beat of the music and use upper body movement + HIIT focused cycling intervals to increase your stamina & strength while keeping you present on the bike.
Yes! We offer a combination of 5, 10, and 25 class memberships. All memberships include shoe rental. Our memberships have been structured to include a 3 month, upfront commitment. At CHVRCH we believe that when we commit, we accomplish - committing to those first 3 months is a part of your initial investment to yourself and the power of growth {which takes time and consistency}.
Please email: frontdesk@chvrchcycle.com with any membership specific questions.
We offer a few different class pack options that will allow you to ride without having a recurring monthly charge. Please note that unused classes do not roll over to the following month and shoe rentals are not included.
Please email: frontdesk@chvrchcycle.com with any class pack specific questions.
If you’re able to snag front row parking at CHVRCH, congratulations! You scored! There is a ton of surrounding area though that offers free parking and is a short walking distance to our front door.
- All riders must sign a waiver prior to their first ride.
We reserve the right to release any bikes that are not signed in for 2-minutes before a class begins. In order to hold the bike, we ask that riders dm @chvrchcycle to let us know they are on their way if they are running late. The front desk will hold a bike for up to 4 minutes after class begins, though we cannot guarantee the rider will be given the bike they signed up for. Riders who are more than 4 minutes late will not be admitted into class.
- In order to cancel a class reservation and return it to your account, you must unreserve 8 hours prior to the class. If a rider does not cancel their bike within our 8 hour window, they will be charged a $10 no-show fee. You can cancel your bike at any time through your account.
- We are not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen at CHVRCH.
- We prefer riders not leaving class until after the cool-down this is for safety precautions and etiquette
We have had many pregnant women who are able to ride right up until their due date, but we recommend you check with your doctor prior to taking a class {just to play it safe}! We’d love to give you, and baby, 45 minutes of dedicated self-love!
We recommend “Look Delta” cleats for our bike pedals, but SPDs will also work.
It depends on the weight of the individual and the amount of exertion used. Research indicates that on average, indoor cyclists can burn from 500-700 calories in a vigorous 45-minute workout.
No, we do not. But because of how our studio is structured, there is always someone keeping an eye on client cubbies + bathroom area.
Yes, in order to sign up for class you must create an account through our website.
If it’s your first time with us, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class time, that way we can help you get set up and clipped in! Please note, that if you have not signed in 4 minutes before the class starts, your bike may be released. If you are running late, please email frontdesk@chvrchcycle.com to let us know and we will hold your bike for a total of 3 minutes after class has begun. Once the 3 minute window has passed, we will lock the front door to avoid class disruption.
When you arrive at the studio, check in with the front desk. Front desk will help you sign-in for your bike, give you a tour of the studio, and set up your bike with you.
We sell bottled water for $2. {Water fountain to come}!
No. We offer shoe rentals, without a membership, at $2. We recommend Look Delta clips, but our pedals are also SPD compatible.
We suggest sporting a tee or tank on top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom.
